Look Both Ways Before You Cross a Runway – XC90 Driving Reminder

volvoxc90site January 12, 2017

The last time I took my XC90 to the airport is was in Buffalo to drop off my wife. I really didn’t get close to the runway at all, but it’s always a good idea to look out for planes. Of course, that advice is more important at some airports than others. A good example is that of an airport in Texas where this XC90 driver took a private road over the threshold of an active runway while a student pilot was about to land.

Nobody died, but my soul cried a little for the XC90 which amazingly suffered very little damage. Oh, and nobody got seriously hurt during the incident, either.

Take a look:

So the next time you drive over part of an active runway in your Volvo XC90, maybe turn around and take another route?
