I’m not very big on adding stickers, decals, bumper stickers or anything else that isn’t stock to my 2004 XC90. I do, however, have a handful of prancing moose stickers, and I’ve been contemplating putting them on, but I haven’t. They just feel too “flat” and not as much like the emblem feel that I’m looking for. It’s likely that I’ll end up putting the Prancing Moose stickers on my toolbox, and that’s cool, but it leaves me kind of still wanting something to add to the Volvo that look a bit more classy than just a flat sticker.
Enter this guy: Karro_6Ped (Real name Alexander)
I’ve been following Alexander, AKA: Karro_6ped on Instagram for a while now. He’s a Volvo fan based in Russia, and he also makes and sells stickers and decals that are pretty cool. Some use the prancing moose image, others don’t. He makes them for a variety of brands, not just Volvo. He’s got some Lamborghini stickers, Ducati, etc. They come in a really decent variety of styles.
You check out quite of a few of his stickers on Amazon.
The other day, he posted one that really (REALLY) caught my attention – a prancing moose sticker that’s coated in a thick-er coat of polyurethane to give the sticker more of an emblem feel than a flat sticker. Then I saw a “made by Sweden” one that I like as well.
Bottom line is – I’m buying these prancing moose stickers for my Volvo. Check out what I have in mind below. Almost looks like they belong there on the Xc90, no?
With glossy aluminum covered in resign, these prancing moose “stickers” look more like stock, factory emblems and really bring an upscale look to the rear of the car. Because my 2004 XC90 is black, I don’t want go crazy with a lot of additional colors. I think just these two stickers, in the locations where I’ve put them (I haven’t bought them yet, I did the above image in Photoshop) will add a nice, upscale touch to the car.
